West Bund Riverside Park

This video depicts a small part of the West Bund Riverside Park, one of the most successful urban renewal projects in Shanghai, where former industrial lands and an inaccessible waterfront has been transformed into a vibrant public realm area comprising leisure activities, art and cultural spaces. Some of the activities and facilities in this video, which are all free to use, include a running and fitness centre with shower facilities, a skatepark, basketball courts, rock climbing walls, and multiple parks setback behind the open promenade (which itself stretches for 15-20km on either side of the river forming an incredibly beautiful and pleasant running, walking and cycling route).
